Here i was in Milan for the mens shows with the great Pat Mc Grath....

This is a shoot i did for SuperTrash an LA based magazine.

The brief was sexy retro chic ,the styling was all black so i decided to put some lighter blonde extentions in her hair to give her some light and to help accentuate that beautiful wave.I kept her makeup quite clean just giving some definition to her eyes by adding some false lashes and brown shadow to help brighten her gorgeous green eyes.I prefer to keep the attention to either the eyes or the lips ...rarely do i do both,not unless a very strong look is required.

This is the second shoot i worked on for some good friends of mine who have created this really cool on line fashion Magazine which comes out monthly.They give the possibility to photographers and stylists to get really creative ....which in turn is great for hairdressers and makeup artists.

This is an amazing model i worked with for Italian Grazia.Check out my site to see the fashion story which has recently been released .The inspiration for hair and makeup was modern day Brigitte Bardot and it was shot by a hot new couple of photographers who are twins Alline and Jacqueline Tappia Reynaud.
I was amazed at how we trasformed her so easily into BB.
I bleached out her eyebrows to give a modern edge to her look and put fake lashes and lots of black eyeliner inside and outside her eye.I outlined her lips with a natural/beige coloured lip liner and then i applied a light beige opaque lip colour.I then shaded her face with a light bronzer.
Then once she was styled and the hairdresser finished her extentions and added the right texture to her hair the new BB couldn't stop looking at herself in the mirror....

Hi Guys...im in LA at the moment just working and taking some time to check out the sites..here are some photos from the backstage of the Vogues fund event i did here,sponsord by Dolce and Gabbana cosmetics on the behalf of Pat Mc Grath.

It has a thicker composition than most other products,which helps it last longer.

This also means that a small amount is needed.....

The shade is essential to give a natural look...after all you are trying to hide something... not the contrary.

If you use too much of a light shade you could easily bring attention to the problem.

A peach toned colour works best on the blue/violet colour found under the eyes...

A green tone works on any red blemishes....

A natural skin tone covers up spots perfectly...

A lighter,brighter tone is great to use as a highlighter to excentuate cheek bones and brow bones....

Its best to apply concealer with a brush and if you have wrinkles under your eyes a liquid concealer is advized or you could add some moisterizing cream to your concealer to lighten the constitency.

I personally prefer to apply concealer after ive applied the base ....i think if you apply the concealer first and then add the base you risk taking off the concealer you've just applied...

Concealer mixed with a little cream is also good to tone down lip pigmentation...

Concealer should also be fixed with a dusting of powder to make it longer lasting....
